The Strike Industries Battle Case for the iPhone 4 is a molded plastic phone case with a loop on the bottom similar to the original Magpul Loop. Strike advertises this as a faster “reload” or “draw” when removing the phone from your pocket. I was doubtful at first and thought of this as a gimmick, or trendy way to sell phone cases. When the case arrived it was rigid and the loop was very stiff.


It is and was still very easy to put the phone into the case. However, once the phone is in the case, it has never come out accidentally. I found the loop actually was beneficial in getting the phone out of my pockets quicker. I’ve been using the case for 45 days. I’ve carried it in coat pockets, cargo pockets on my pants, and the kangaroo pouch on my tac vest and found it was easy to get my phone out quickly. I can’t say the same for the Otterbox I had been using before this. I’m also a phone dropper. I went through two iPhone 3S’s and am on my second iPhone 4.


In the time I’ve been testing this case I haven’t dropped the phone once, the case has ridges cut into the sides that help you get a grip and if you’re really worried you can hook your little finger through the loop as added security.

I received a Strike Industries iPhone 4 Battle Case to test and from the moment I took it out of the package I could feel that it was very well constructed and would most likely do a good job of protecting my iPhone 4 which takes a great deal of abuse. The fit was right on for my IPhone 4 which I cannot say
of some of the other cases I have used, however because of the tight fit it made it a little difficult to get the phone in and out when I needed to.


The screen covers that came with this case did a good job of protecting my screen while not affecting the function of the touch screen to severely. Overall this product did a great job of protecting my iPhone 4 and I will buy another when the time comes.
